18-Month Post-Doctoral Position in Simulation for Medical Physics
2026-03-11Project focus: The successful candidate will join the Medical Physics and Radiation Detectors group led by Prof. Masayuki Wada. The research involves developing a next-generation PET scanner using xenon-doped liquid argon (Xe-LAr) with cryogenic silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) and digital readout. The position also includes participation in the DarkSide-20k experiment and R&D projects on precise calibration for. low-energy nuclear recoils in liquid argon detectors.

Duration: Initial term of 2 years, with possible renewal
